1. Introduction

Welcome to Reformat ("we," "our," or "us"), operated at reformat.pro. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Reformat.

2. Description of Service

Reformat is an AI-powered file conversion platform offering 375+ tools for converting, compressing, and transforming files. The service is available in three tiers:

• -Free: 3 conversions per day, up to 10MB per file, no account required.
• -Pro ($9/month): Unlimited conversions, up to 100MB per file, AI-powered tools including document summarizer, document chat, and OCR.
• -Business ($29/month): Everything in Pro, up to 500MB per file, API access, team management, custom branding, and dedicated support.

3. Account Terms

A Reformat account is not required to use the free tier. However, an account is required to subscribe to Pro or Business plans. When you create an account, you agree to:

• -Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• -Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• -Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
• -Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

4. File Handling and Data Retention

When you upload files to Reformat for conversion or processing:

• -All file transfers are encrypted via HTTPS (TLS encryption in transit).
• -Uploaded files and converted outputs are automatically and permanently deleted within 1 hour of processing.
• -We do not access, review, or share the contents of your files, except as necessary to provide the conversion service.
• -You retain full ownership of all files you upload and all converted outputs.

You are responsible for downloading your converted files before the 1-hour auto-deletion window expires. We are not liable for files that are not downloaded in time.

5. AI Tool Usage

Reformat offers AI-powered features including document summarization, document chat, and OCR text extraction (available on Pro and Business plans). By using these features, you acknowledge that:

• -AI-generated outputs (summaries, extracted text, chat responses) are provided "as is" and may not be perfectly accurate.
• -Your file content may be processed by third-party AI models to deliver these features. This processing is subject to the same 1-hour auto-deletion policy.
• -You should not rely solely on AI outputs for critical decisions without independent verification.
• -We do not use your files or AI outputs to train machine learning models.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Business) are billed monthly through our payment processor, Paddle. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

• -Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
• -You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• -We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
• -Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any price changes take effect.
• -Applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax) are calculated and handled by Paddle based on your location.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Reformat to:

• -Upload, convert, or process files that contain illegal content, malware, or material that violates the rights of others.
• -Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or file size restrictions.
• -Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the service or its infrastructure.
• -Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without our written permission, except through our official API.
• -Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Reformat name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are the property of Reformat and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the files you upload and the outputs generated from your files. We claim no ownership over your content.

9. Limitation of Liability

Reformat is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• -We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• -We are not liable for any loss of data, including files not downloaded before the 1-hour auto-deletion.
• -Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Reformat at any time if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the service or other users. You may stop using the service at any time. Upon termination, any outstanding subscription will continue until the end of the current billing period unless a refund is issued.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a prominent notice on the service. Your continued use of Reformat after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
